In 1994, the GIM\u00ae60 was the first charger for nickel-cadmium batteries to be launched on the market. Since then, many chargers in different performance classes have been developed for various battery technologies. Today, the performance spectrum extends to fast chargers that can charge battery packs with up to 70 A. The company launched the first charger for the \u2018Charly\u2019 e-scooter back in 1997. TCE offers a wide range of chargers that are used in professional floor-cleaning equipment and industrial trucks, among other things. The chargers have an output of up to 2 kW and are available in various housings, in demanding protection classes and with different heat-dissipation principles. They are characterised by high efficiency, low standby power consumption and extremely high-power density. One of its core competences is the development and production of switched-mode power supplies (SMPS).
